Addabbo Jr. and PS 60 in Woodhaven successfully organized a month-long drive to support the Sacred Heart Parish Ministries food pantry located in Glendale. The donated goods were officially handed over on June 5th, with the pantry's staff expressing immense appreciation for the overwhelming support received. The Sacred Heart Parish Ministries food pantry has been serving numerous individuals and families monthly from Glendale and its surrounding areas. In recent years, the demand for food assistance has risen dramatically due to the lingering effects of the pandemic and ongoing inflation impacting grocery prices. To address these needs, the campaign collected various non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, pasta, rice, cereal, toiletries, soap, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products.
